Petal Album Design & Layout for Print Production and Digital Release

Working with the founder and leader of the band Avataar, Sundar Vishwanathan, we started with the featured mixed media caustic artwork entitled ‘The Beauty of a Moment’ by Joya Paul. Using elements from the layers of the artwork, the CD layout and design were created to bring out the colours and tones in the artwork and play off the theme of the title ‘Petal’.
AVATAAR is an award-winning Toronto-based World Jazz group led by multiple JUNO-nominated and award-winning saxophonist/flutist/composer/vocalist Sundar Viswanathan.
